Posted Saturday, February 20, 2010 by AP Hockey Writer
John Jay rallied past Arlington 6-4 friday night at Ice time to take Game 1 of the Hudson Valley finals. John Jay was down 4-2  and in penalty trouble most of the 2nd period while goalie Mark Roberts kept them in it with some key saves before rallying for the win. Ryan Connolly was the offensive star once again with his 2nd hat trick of the playoffs but it was Conor Frei's snipe late in the 2nd that ignited the Patriot comeback. Bobby Henderson had a big goal on a one-timer and Mike Patierno finished them off with the empty netter.
